Pingmin Christmas Market🎄

Pingmin Market is a small market curated to project cultural and creative atmospheres into the community, promote the development of the local creative economy and provide a platform for industry experts and self-created brands to be seen by more people. 

Anticipate the aroma of freshly baked goods, handmade accessories and art. The market also offers various foods, from sweet treats like cake and ice cream to savoury delights like ramen.

When: 8-10 December (SJCC Subang Jaya), 23-25 December (Sunway Pyramid)

Kuala Lumpur Art Book Fair 📖

Emerging from a culture driven by artists and the self-publishing scene, the Kuala Lumpur Art Book Fair (KLABF) convenes and nurtures individual artists, illustrators, designers, independent publishers, writers, photographers, institutions, and printmakers, who are dedicated to crafting unique art books and prints. 

The fair will present an engaging lineup of activities, including talks, and workshops that will provide a space for the exchange of ideas, conversations and collaboration.

Bukit Jalil City Half Marathon 🏃🏻

Want to challenge yourself? Lace up your running shoes and join the Bukit Jalil City Half Marathon. This event not only offers a chance to test your endurance but also provides a glimpse through the surroundings of Bukit Jalil. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a beginner, this event offers three categories – 21.1 km half marathon, 5 km and 10 km fun runs – welcoming participants of all levels to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle.

Upon joining the run, you’ll be entitled to an Ultron® event jersey, finisher medal, race bib, e-certificate, personal accident insurance and light refreshments. You also get to bring back a trophy by placing in the top 5!

Comic Fiesta 🎉

From comics to games, Comic Fiesta 2023 is a haven for enthusiasts and an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for its artistry.

Comic Fiesta is one of Southeast-Asia’s largest and longest-running conventions that focuses on animation, comics and games (ACG). The convention has a mission to spread awareness and information on ACG culture while furthering the creative industry in the region.

When: 23-24 December

Other World - Interactive Art Exhibition 🖼️

For those who love visiting art galleries and exhibitions, step into REXPERIENCE’s multi-artist exhibition, “Other World”. This immersive debut invites visitors to explore beyond the ordinary and immerse themselves in captivating alternative dimensions. Embracing cosmic, natural, urban, and abstract landscapes, “Other World'' celebrates the boundless possibilities of art. REXPERIENCE challenges traditional art-viewing norms by guiding you through a one-hour show featuring three main immersive art exhibits, each connected by interactive interludes.

The Exchange TRX 🏬

Having recently opened at the end of November and dubbed ‘The New Social Heart of Kuala Lumpur’, The Exchange TRX is a treasure trove for shopping enthusiasts.

The mall features several new to market stores – Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster, beauty brand Drunk Elephant (first ever physical store globally!), fast casual restaurant chain Shake Shack from New York City, California-based athleisure brand Alo Yoga and the Paris-meets-Tokyo brand Maison Kitsuné & Café Kitsuné.
