We launched our first collection back in July 2021. “De Base” refers to basic in French. We were thinking of creating something simple for the beginning to kick start the business. The first collection was all about earth tone and neutral colours such as white, grey, beige and black with colour printed text or quotes on the shirt.
De Base Collection emphasised on self-care and self-love. We came across people who stressed out from work, especially when working from home as some of us might blame ourselves for not doing enough or not being efficient. In the opposite, some of us might swamped by work, overwork or even work on the weekend. Thus, we wanted to remind everyone to take good care of their physical and mental health. It is important to just be happy.
We encouraged people to take a break, prioritise rest time through our pieces! Let’s talk about the concept for the first collection shoot. The overall idea we wanted to achieve was comfortable, laid-back, have fun. We had our photoshoot at home setting and the park to create the relax vibes. The photos turn out pretty well too!
We received so much love from you guys the moment we launched it and the entire collection was sold out within a month! We are super thankful for the overwhelmed support. It thrives us to do better on the next one!
